Data request feasibility Form

We have prepared a few questions to assess the feasibility of your request. It will only take about 2 minutes to find out if your request can be processed by the HDA. You can revisit and modify your answers at any time. At the end, you will have the option to share your results with us, helping us enhance our services.

The HDA aims to facilitate the availability of health (care) data and health (care) related data;

Health (care) data: data referred to in Article 4(15) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC;

3° Health (care) related data: data related to health and data related to health care, namely all data that can influence the health (care) data.

This concerns in particular, but not limited to, the social data referred to in Article 2, 4° of the Law of 15 January 1990 establishing and organising a Crossroads Bank for Social Security, the data managed by Statbel in the context of its mission to collect, produce and disseminate reliable and pertinent figures on the Belgian economy, society and the territory in accordance with the law of 1 July 1962 on public statistics and environmental data managed by the Federal Public Service Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment;

Data that is subject to no or minimal restrictions on use.

Personal data is any data relating to an identified or identifiable living natural person. Individual data that can lead to the identification of a specific person together also constitute personal data. Aggregated personal data is data in which the personal data of different persons is combined under a number where re-identification is no longer possible without the pseudonymization code.

Aggregated data is data in which data from different people is combined to obtain an aggregated figure.

If all persons who are the subject of the data have died, we no longer speak of personal data.

If data comes from different parties and cannot be linked on the basis of elements from the application (i.e. anonymous data).

If data from different data providers has to be linked, a Trusted Third Party must be used. This third party is authorized to link the data and make the linked data available to the applicant.

Are all conditions for the processing of personal data according to the GDPR legislation met and is there a valid legal basis?
